On this particular day in 1984 Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom was released in theaters. I don't know how many times I've watched this trilogy but it's more than the amount of fingers I have on both hands.

Late Night Viewing
Looks like it's going to be a late night of TV viewing for me on this Friday night. Fellow film buff fam Blax shot me a text informing me that a couple of classics are showing tonight, Ganja & Hess (1973) and The Slams starring Jim Brown. So it's off to take a disco nap then back up at 2:30am to get some TV time in.

The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3
There's very few flicks that I can watch on a regular basis and The Taking of Pelham 123 is one of them. There's just something about gritty 1970s New York City crime movies that I've always loved and this movie definitely captures that feeling and look of old NY (minus the hijacked subway of course).
